Quality Control
Upon completion of all jobs, Ameritex Roofing uses the following Quality Control checklist to inspect the job performed.
- Fireplace flashed
- Sidewalls flashed
- Skylights flashed
- Plastic cement not showing on walls and metal
- All vents painted
- All vents sealed and flashed properly
- Vents, jacks connected in attic
- All vents and turbines in attic
- Turbines installed
- Shingles installed properly
- Damaged shingles REPLACED
- Any shingles sticking up (check to see why--if it is because shingles below are not nailed down, then we correct it)
- Shingles on straight
- Antennas are put back EXACTLY the same way
- Metal edging put on properly
- Valleys cut straight
- Gutters will be clean
- Gutters renailed if specified
- Driveways, sidewalks, and porches will be clean
- Stairway entrance clean
- Check for wasted material
- Roof clean. Yard picked up and magnetized
- On all composition nail over-turn old shingles back to facia; new
shingles should overhang 1/4" to 1/2"
